Live Trace

 I choose fish because I love sea life and aquariums. The original image came from a google search of black and white fish. I am new to Illustrator and it was my first time using the live paint tool. I wanted to try to fill all the little spaces and use a lot of color. Fish can be very colorful and beautiful so I tried to display that.

The Rose

I am not amazing at drawing but one thing I love to draw is all different types of flowers. Natural and organic things are easier for me to draw. My friend has been asking me to draw her something to frame in her room, so I figure this was the perfect time. I drew the rose in black and white and then colored the outside in red because I thought it would make the flower "pop". I hated how it looked so I then went over it with purple, which is my friend's favorite color. I ended up really liking how it came out. I then scanned it into the computer and when I live traced the image all the lines didn't show up. I decide to still use it and I really like how it came out. When you look at the image on illustrator and zoom in, you can see all the tiny little piece I filled and how long it really took me.
