"On the High Seas"
I very much liked this black and white image of a ship I found, and felt that by coloring it this way, it has a very calming look to it. Perhaps if I had used darker shades of blue for the ocean and the air, I might have a 'darker' image. I am glad I chose to color it this way, I feel it has a great sense of spirit within the image, and that is what I like best about it. 

"My Dog at Home"

In this work, I wanted to achieve a simple, very plain image that depicted my Beagle, my dog, at home.
I like the dull colors I used, because these are the shades of my dog, and so I felt that giving the background a dull brownish color would give that impression of a solid, in-your-face look, which perfectly encapsulates the personality of my dog.
