This original picture has no creator (that I could find) it was just an image on the internet. I choose to take an image of a big sun and color it in so that it would resemble a tribal mask that you see certain cultures wearing during dances and festivals. I used bright colors because most masks are painted with very lively colors like red, orange, etc. The I used gradient to give it more of a shine so that it could really resemble a mask.
"Brick Walls"
I'm titling this live trace drawing "Brick Walls" I traced the inside of my dorm room from the closet to the sink. The dorm room itself is pretty basic with white walls, white doors, and basically very little color all around. So when coloring in my live trace I painted the room to resemble a room at home. Taking away the college feel that you get from the dorm room and giving it a more at home feeling. Some struggles I had while coloring was, I should have separated my lines more so that I could change the shading of the lines without changing the complete color of the bin at the top of the closet and little things like that. Overall i had very little issues with my final work.
