Live trace

This was the image I started out with for my live trace. I chose it because I'm all about cactuses and this drawing seemed complex enough to still be interesting, but simple enough to not

 be a giant hassle to color. I couldn't find who the artist is. When I colored this, I wanted to keep the colors semi-realistic. I like how it turned out, and think it conveys the feeling of desert.

"House"

This was the image from my sketchbook that I chose to trace and color. I wanted to keep it kind of simple, because I'm still not really sure what I'm doing with Illustrator. I think it came out pretty well, I just wish I had done something with the background and been able to get rid of these little lines at the tops of the legs (you can't really see them because the picture is too small, but they're there. And they're annoying).
