Juxtaposition
I had the idea of a mechanical heart, but finding an appropriate background was difficult. After a long time searching, I FINALLY found this background which was perfect, and then I just cut out the mechanical heart from another piece and placed it.
Next I thought about mechanical animals and found this robotic hummingbird. I had to find a flower at the right angle that would make sense with the angle of the hummingbird, and when I did I had to play with the size of the hummingbird to fit well.
I thought it would be fun to find a picture where I could simulate a robotic wild cat chasing an animal of prey, but it was very difficult to find two pictures that would work well together and make sense.
This was the first one I did and wanted to just have fun with it. Sort of a "giant creatures attacking the city" theme, but with kittens instead.
