CD PROJECT

Theme: Sports in Early Childhood

Title of CD: “Hop into the Fun.”

      For this particular project, I have decided to do something that I thought would be very fun and exciting for younger children since I am an Early Childhood Education major and plan on becoming a teacher. I also thought that this would be a little different from what the rest of the class would think about doing as well. So I have decided to create a cd that would focus on the concept of music.  This music would allow children to increase their motor and gross development through the usage of playing different games while participating in a day of fun at the park, a fun and field day in school, or even participating in different sports activities while in gym. So my theme is Sports in Early Childhood.  The title of my cd is, “Hop into the Fun.” I have decided to entitle my cd this because I thought that it would be a very catchy and interesting title. I also thought that it would co-inside with the theme that I am trying to convey and explain to my audience.

In addition to giving you some quick ideas about my CD Project, I have also included some general sketches of what my tri-fold will look like. Some of these covers for my CD are subject to change, but here is what I have so far:

This is a quick sketch of what my back cover will look like. As you can see, I will have all of the songs listed, with my title in the center (bright colors and cursive writing) and also some quick notes on the side as well.

This is a quick sketch of what my front cover will look like as well. It is subject to change because I am still building on new ideas. I plan to make the background a light blue or maybe even a colorful background in order to make it appealing to my audience.

I have also included a dedication page which I think is so important to the buyer because it gives them a sense of what the product that they are buying is all about. Included on my dedication page will be two pictures of children playing sports (inside the squares), a background that will include multiple colors as well, just like the front cover.
